ERP Integration

Modern ERP systems provide the ability to connect, synchronize, and cooperate with other applications and databases. Through ERP integration, companies can achieve a unified view of information from different systems, enhance business process efficiency, improve customer service quality, and facilitate collaboration between teams and business partners.

Today, there are several types of ERP system integration:

Direct Integration

ERP systems have the capability to connect (link with production equipment) as part of the offered product. This requires suppliers to offer special support for the production equipment used by their clients.

Database Integration

ERP systems connect to data sources in production through intermediary tables in the database. Production floor systems input the necessary information into the database. The ERP system reads the information from the table. The advantage of this phased approach is that ERP suppliers do not need to deal with the complexities of equipment integration. The responsibility for the connection becomes that of the system integrator.

Custom Integration

Many system integrators offer custom solutions. These systems typically have the highest initial integration costs and may have higher long-term maintenance and reliability costs.

Thus, ERP systems can not only create new functionality but also complement or optimize existing solutions.
